Terms & Conditions

The short version: you must be 18+, be yourself, and treat people well. NomadTwin helps you find people and activities, but we don't organize or supervise meetups, so use good judgment when you meet anyone. Plus renews automatically until you cancel it in your app store.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Razor Informatics ("we", "us"), who operates NomadTwin. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use NomadTwin.

2. Who can use NomadTwin

You must be at least 18 years old.
You must use your real first name, your real date of birth and a photo that shows you.
One personal account per person. Accounts can't be shared, sold or transferred.
You can't use NomadTwin if we've previously removed you, or if the law doesn't allow you to.
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

3. What NomadTwin is (and isn't)

NomadTwin lets you discover and create activities on a map, plan trips, see who else is around or heading to the same place, and chat. Activities are created by users. We don't host, organize, supervise, check or guarantee any activity, place or person, and we're not a party to any arrangement between users (including splitting costs). NomadTwin is for friendship and shared experiences, not for commercial promotion.

4. Your conduct

You agree not to:

harass, threaten, bully, stalk or discriminate against anyone, or send unwanted sexual content;
post anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexually explicit or that exploits minors;
pretend to be someone else, create fake accounts, or misrepresent your age;
use NomadTwin to sell things, advertise, recruit, solicit money, or run scams;
send spam or mass unsolicited messages, or use bots, scrapers or automation;
share other people's personal information without their permission;
try to get around blocks, limits, bans or security measures, or interfere with the app.

5. Your content

You own what you post (profile details, photos, messages, activities). To run the app, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within NomadTwin and to process it for moderation and safety. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies other users already received (for example, group chat messages) and backups kept for a limited time. You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

6. Meeting people

We don't run criminal background checks or verify people's identities. Photo checks and moderation reduce risk but can't remove it. You're responsible for your own safety and decisions when you meet people you've found through NomadTwin. Please read our Safety tips, meet in public places, and report anyone who breaks the rules. If you're ever in danger, contact local emergency services first.

7. NomadTwin Plus

Plus is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly) bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel it.
If a free trial is offered, you're charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
Payments, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Where the law gives you a right to a refund or to withdraw, that right isn't affected.
We may change Plus features or prices; price changes apply from your next renewal after notice, as the stores require.

8. Moderation, suspension and deletion

We may review reports, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put others at risk, with or without notice. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; see how account deletion works. Sections 5, 6 and 10–14 continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Our app and brand

The app, its design and the NomadTwin name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell it.

10. Third-party services

NomadTwin uses services from other companies, such as maps and place information from Google, sign-in through Google or Apple, and payments through the app stores. Their terms may also apply, and we're not responsible for their content or availability.

11. Disclaimers

NomadTwin is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that information from users or third parties (including activity details and places) is accurate, or about the behavior of any user on or off the app.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, or for anything arising from your interactions or meetings with other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, to the extent the law allows.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you also keep those protections and may bring claims in your local courts. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at info@razorinformatics.co.ke so we can try to resolve it.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. For important changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use NomadTwin afterwards means you accept them. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: info@razorinformatics.co.ke.
